Band out of Montreal who's lead singer, Elizabeth Powell, wrote the new album during her six month recuperation from a hemorrhage vocal polyp. Cloak and Cipher (Saddle Creek Records) features contributions from Patrick Watson, as well as members of Stars, Arcade Fire, Besnard Lakes, and others.
