Catching up on some 2011 songs that we didn't get out in time...like this track from Belgium-born Australian, Wally De Backer, aka Gotye.  Apparently, after attempting to play music while growing up, "the first seeds of Gotye were planted when De Backer was given a large collection of old records—an elderly neighbour, whose wife had passed away, had heard his first band rehearsing over the years and gave his late wife's LP collection to De Backer".  

Play a sold-out show at the El Rey on Feb. 2, 2012.
