Once again our friend Ashlea over at The Outside Organisation has turned us onto another rising band out of the UK. Say hello to Alt-J, whose debut album An Awesome Wave is a favorite to win the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize and is finally set for release in the States on September 18. Just like Youth Lagoon's The Year of Hibernation last year, Alt-J's debut took me a few listens to wade through its subtle intricacies. But once I did, I GOT IT. Hopefully you will too.
