LA's own Kisses, featuring the duo of Jesse Kivel (of Princeton) and Zinzi Edmundson, is back with their second album, Kids In LA, released today. "The Hardest Part" finds them taking their disco-indie-pop up another level - if you can resist dancing during the infectious chorus, you have better self control than I do. We and our Super Music Friends have been grooving to the sounds of Kisses ever since their debut album The Heart of the Nightlife came out last year, and we were lucky enough to be at their very first concert ever at La Cita in downtown LA. The LA duo will be playing a free show along with other great bands like Ra Ra Riot, Best Coast, Zola Jesus, La Sera, The Morning Benders, and more as part of the Make Music Pasadena festival this Saturday.
