Big week for Team Driftwood with five shows in the span of six nights, and I'm especially excited to catch Lorde's LA debut on Thursday night at the Echoplex. You've probably heard New Zealand's latest export everywhere as her tune "Royals" has been blowing up lately. Her new single "Tennis Court" picks up where "Royals" leaves off and is a great sign ahead of the release of her debut album later this year. She seems like the real deal and most likely won't be playing a venue this small in LA again. Oh, and she's only 16!
