Hailing from Sydney, the Australian trio Jagwar Ma have a dancey/psychedelic rock sound that hints of influences from Primal Scream, Happy Mondays and other "Madchester" bands. Combined that with high praise from the mighty Noel Gallagher in NME and there it's a no-brainer that we here at Driftwood are instant fans. With their debut album Howlin' just released in June, Gabriel, Jono and Jack are touring the US with a sold out show tonight at The Echo. I guess we'll just have to catch them at 11pm on Halloween at the Reykjavik Art Museum.
