Team Driftwood was recently in Iceland for the Iceland Airwaves festival, and this week we'll be bringing you some new music that caught our live attention while we were there. First up - Nóra. We blogged about them before heading out to Iceland, and after catching them live (three times!) and partying with them (we blame them for the worst of our hangovers), not only are they our new BFFs, but they are a legitimate band with fantastic tunes. From the cinematic and otherworldly beauty of Iceland come Nóra. Described as "some kind of honey-glazed indie pop", Nóra is set to expose their dense, melodic soundscape beyond Iceland's borders with the release of their upcoming second album later this year, with Sporvagnar being the first single. Team Driftwood will be catching Nóra live at this year's Iceland Airwaves Festival, and through the magic of PledgeMusic, will be their guests at a private dinner party! With lots of booze!
