Angels by THE XX [2012]

Angels by The xx

[official - iTunes - Spotify]

Sounds like we'll be getting more of the usual haunting and excellent stuff from The xx on their upcoming album, Coexist (out Sept11).  One half of Driftwood caught the band performing live at the Fonda just last night so I'm sure there will be some high quality video from the show on YouTube shortly.

Excellent acoustic cover of the XX by Damon and Gorillaz on BBC Radio 1.  To watch the video, check out youtube.  And for more covers, check out Miles of Music this week.

It's Coachella eve everyone, and Team Driftwood along with the Super Music Friends will be heading to the desert tomorrow for some sun and fun. Of all the bands playing this weekend, I'm most excited about seeing The xx. See you there.
