They weren't from Manhattan, and they didn't take their own lives. But in the three short years that The Manhattan Love Suicides were around, they released one album and one compilation filled with fuzzy, lo-fi, catchy, guitar noise pop a la The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Primitives. In recognition of their all too short existence, Memorial Week rolls on.
