MEMORIAL WEEK carries on with a memorable choice from my college years. Los Angeles' own The Autumns released their phenomenal first album, The Angel Pool, in 1997...introducing me to the shoegaze/dream pop genre. 10 years, 3 more albums and a handful of EPs later and we haven't heard from the band since 2007. No formal announcement of a breakup can be found but lead singer Mathew Kelly recently started a new project with members of The Sugarplastic. Soviet League was noted by LA Weekly as one of the Top 10 Bands to watch in 2011.
