Oh happy day! Always a good time of the year when Radiohead puts out new music. TKOL is definitely not going to please everyone but it keeps this superfan happy. Long review short, this album is pretty much all Thom and is based in his continuing love of Dubstep and Flying Lotus - not bad things, just not what some fans want/expect. TKOL is prety much an extension of The Eraser...or if The Gloaming were an EP. (Ah, how I love The Gloaming). Fear not....rumors are floating around that this small 8 track LP may in fact only be part 1 of 2. We can only hope.
Almost forgot! I've also included the live/demo version of Separator from Thom's solo gig in Cambridge almost a year ago this week. Always fun to hear the early, acoustic versions next to their Nigel Godrich curated counterparts. For more acoustic versions of TKOL, check out my video of Lotus Flower.
