A slow and steady revival of the 60's garage/surf-rock/girl-pop sound has been swelling lately, and we're ok with that. Beach Day is a two-piece from Florida who excel at sunny punk tunes with a "distinct air of youthful rebelliousness and manic playfulness". Their new album "Native Echoes" is out August 19 through Kanine Records (arguably label of the year) which you can stream in full now. Best of all they're playing a FREE show this Sunday at the Echo as part of Echo Park Rising. See you there!
