There are many things your friends at Driftwood are fond of but nothing makes us happier than beautiful music about our beautiful hometown of Los Angeles.  What's even better than that is when the song is written by our favorite Scottish Los Angeleno, Owl John, aka Scott Hutchinson of Frightened Rabbit.  Already a contender for one of my favorite songs of the year, "Los Angeles Be Kind" comes off of the side-project's excellent self-titled first album.

Check out Line of Best Fit's in-depth interview with Scott where he talks a bit more about the song and his adopted home:  "Then there’s moving to Los Angeles, there’s obviously some fairly literal references to that, and that being quite an alienating experience to begin with. But now I'm settled here and it’s started to feel as much like home as it possibly can be, because it never quite will be."
