Faith by I BREAK HORSES [2014]
We first got a taste of Sweden's I Break Horses back in 2012 at the Iceland Airwaves festival, and now they're back with their second album, Chiaroscuro. Self-described as "dance music for funerals", their single "Faith" is a pulsating frenetic number that's getting us amped to see them on Saturday in LA at the Bootleg. Get your tickets here.

AIRWAVES WEEK: Hearts by I BREAK HORSES
Our recap of Iceland Airwaves discoveries continues with Sweden's I Break Horses. We caught this electronic duo before DIIV at IÐNÓ, a quaint historic theatre/restaurant (originally built in 1897!) located on the banks of the picturesque Reykjavic Pond. Their buzzing synthesizers and majestic vocals brought to mind the shoegaze and dream pop sounds of bands we've enjoyed, new and old. A pleasant surprise they were. Sweden strikes again.
